Education: Brookdale Community College, and also the Community College of Morris.
I have been married to Steve Eichhorn for 47 years; we have 2 daughters, Laura & Janet and a granddaughter, Samantha.
During the last two years of High School I worked part time as a bookkeeper for a business here in Midland Park. After graduation, I started working for Fairbanks Morse (a division of Colt Industries) in the financial division. During that time Steve and I were married, and we lived in Teaneck, NJ. I stayed working at Fairbanks until 1968, when the company relocated to Vermont.
My daughters were born in 1969 (Laura) and 1972 (Janet). We moved back to Midland Park in 1976 so that my daughters could attend Eastern Christian Schools (ECSA); we have been here ever since.
In 1977, I started working for ECSA as their Transportation Coordinator, which involved arranging the transportation for approximately 900 students, training drivers and purchasing equipment for that purpose. It was an ideal position, since my girls could come to my office after school until I was finished for the day.
In 1982, after I had attended a State Transportation Conference and was returning home from Atlantic City, my car became disabled in Wayne. I walked across the street looking for help and was struck by 2 cars. Needless to say, my life changed dramatically. I spent the next 6 months in the hospital and a rehabilitation hospital where I had to learn how to walk again, among other things. I had many lingering residuals and had to retire at the age of 39.
I feel the Lord put a stumbling block in front me for a reason I might never know. My daughters now had a stay at home mom. Since then, I have been involved in assorted volunteer positions with my church and school.
Our precious granddaughter Samantha attends Eastern Christian Elementary School here in Midland Park and we often babysit. We enjoy traveling and have been to China, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji Island, Israel, Russia and many European countries along with many places the US. Our favorite place is Aruba where we stay for 6 weeks in January-February (No snow)! No matter where we are, we love to read.
We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the reunion but will be at a wedding in Atlanta and traveling to Tennessee while you are renewing your friendships. We send our best to all of you and hope to see you at the next reunion (if there is one).

PROFILE:
After MPHS, I attended the Mandl School for Medical Assistants in New York City, graduating in 1962, after which I then worked for a Paterson NJ pediatrician until 1972. Raymond Donadt and I were married in June of 1969. Together we raised 2 daughters – Lisa (born in 1971) and Kimberly (born in 1975).
We moved to Mass in 1975, where I became a stay at home mom until our daughters both became of school age. Then I returned to college and became certified to teach Early Childhood Education. I then worked as the Registrar, and taught preschool classes at a private school. I retired in 2000 when her parents health began to deteriorate.
In 2006, Ray and I relocated to where we currently live in Charlton, Mass, to be closer to our oldest daughter's family (2 grandsons, now ages 2 & 4).
