SENIOR CLASS TRIP --- WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14, 1961
Our Senior Class trip was to a resort in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We spent the entire day (beginning at 6 AM and ending at 2 AM the next day) at beautiful "Vacaton Valley" on Echo Lake in the Poconos. Below are photos of that memorable day (including newspaper clippings and permissions slips).
( ** If YOU have photos from this Senior Class Trip to the Poconos, please send them to Dave Kay, and he will get them posted on this page. Thanks!)
FYI: In the late 1970s, Vacation Valley was bought out by Caesar's Palace [of Las Vegas casino fame], and had its name changed to "Caesar's Pocono Palace". This name has again been changed, and today it is known as "The Pocono Palace Resort").
